Rudy Rack Big Ring Classic
Just putting the final touches on my bike for the Wisconsin Off Road Racing Series marathon. The course is the same trail system as the 24 Hour NORBA National Championship event so it will be a good chance to get a feel for how I need to run my set up for the 24 hour race in July. I haven't done a 40 mile race in years so it will be very interesting to see how I hold up at this distance. The race is a real mix of wide open rolling hills mixed with single track that wants nothing more than to break your bike in two. I will for sure be running the FS Jersey Devil at this one. I will need all the speed I can get, furthermore play time is over for the pre-season its time to get serious about the next set of races. Just a hour spin mixed with a few hard efforts today and tomorrow and I should be set to go for Sunday. Again, if your racing this weekend, good luck, have fun, and keep the rubber side down.
