I hadn't ridden my bike in almost 3 months, oh sure I have been skiing and running to beat all hell, but no bike time, anyway since I hadn't ridden I decided I better get out and enjoy the 60 degree weather. As you can see I got a little carried away and road to Switzerland. Ok just 6 hours of good steady ride time, but with the miles of hills at 15% grade it felt like Switzerland. This little berg is New Galarus and it is just like coming into a little town in Switzerland. It's 1.5 hours away from my house and is nothing but up and down the entire way. The pay back was getting to ride for another 3 hours in the same direction that flag is blowing. Finished with a 1.5 hour loop around the city and then back home for some vino. I think it's going to be a good year because I felt great and I could do it again today, that is if it wasn't 38 degrees out and raining. Time for the trainer. This is the maple leaf a chocolate and cheese shop that I sometimes ride down to just to pick up Fudge.

This is a old train station that now serves as the trail head for the sugar river bike path, one of hundreds of rail to trail paths in Wisconsin.
If you get lost in town don't worry some of the markers are also in English.
