Very little time to blog, gotta work a week in 2 days get ready leave and still get a little prep riding in. I very rarely go to a race thinking I am in trouble, but with crappy weather here I have had very little training time. My competition on the other hand has been racing for at least the last couple months. I almost bagged this race, but decided yesterday that was quitter talk, better to spend a day racing then just riding around the homestead . I just don't like using National level events as training races, but we will again turn this into a mini vacation visiting a few wineries and distilleries along the way, on second thought maybe I should do that after the race.

I visited the JD distillery almost 20 years ago, dunno if it is still the same, but back then it was distilled in a dry county, so you had to go to the JD store in another county to get a tasting.....
still a dry county but now you can buy JD straight from them in a commertative bottle.
was there in 07 , can get the bottles there but not the single barrell bottles, the last tour of the day was 4ish pm get there early. It was cool .Also did DICKEL whiskey , don't do that !!!
